When Life Hands You Lemons...

Hello hello and welcome back to another blog post! I know my posting schedule has been all weird and thrown off the past couple of weeks and it will, unfortunately, continue to be that way through next week! I am in the process of moving (video coming soon) and have a lot going on so that just makes it a little harder to get content. But! I’ve got some things in the works, more fashion, and just overall good content on the way!

For today, I have the last shoot I got when I was visiting family in Southern California! As temps seem to be on the rise across the country, this is a great outfit to keep cool in whatever you are doing day to day.

Let’s start with the top. I have been told they look like mandarins and lemons and so I am choosing to go with lemons for the sake of the lemon puns. This is a top I probably wouldn’t have entertained getting even a year ago, but during quarantine, my style changed drastically and became way more broad and open-minded. This top is one of my favorite purchases to date. It’s cropped, but not drastically so, the square neckline is incredibly flattering for those of us without boobs, and I cannot get over the poofed sleeves! The detailing on this top is amazing: from the detailing on the sleeves to the ruching on the side of it is amazing. Perfect for casual wear or tea in the garden now that parties are a thing again.

This was a shorter post than usual, but the photos were just too good to not post all of them. I am in the process of moving and starting a new job so I’ve been busy, but things will be back on track soon! See you all next week!
