Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

Hello hello! Today I am doing a quick round-up of my ride or die, can not live without beauty products! I love makeup and love to do some pretty crazy looks, but I do have my favorite products that I love to use every day and even in the crazy looks. These are the products that if they were ever discontinued I would cry for days. These are also the best summer products I have found, they are light and good for the skin.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint- I am currently out of this and waiting for it to come in the mail since my Sephora was out of my shade BUT! I couldn't recommend this product more. You still need to wear sunblock even though it has SPF in it, but a little extra never hurts! Plus, it is super lightweight and makes your skin look exactly like your skin but with just a little airbrush effect almost. Plus it has skincare benefits in it, which I love! I have super sensitive and acne-prone skin and this has not ever given me a bad reaction and honestly feels like it is making my skin better.

Glossier Boy Brow, Brow Flick, Lip Gloss, and Lash Slick- It is no secret how much I am in love with Glossier. I use their skincare products as well as so much of their makeup, but these ones listed above are my top three from them. Lash Slick is by far the best mascara I have ever used; it gives off the look of having naturally long and full lashes. It comes off so easy but also stays on even through rain, humidity, and crying. The brow products also are the best because I have such naturally thin brows that are not very dark and these two products give me great brows. If I am running late or am not doing a lot of makeup, I just use Boy Brow and get a nice fluffy brow! It makes it look like I have naturally amazing brows. Last but not least, the lip gloss is perfect! I am usually a fan of a matte lip, but especially in the summer having a gloss over a lipstick or even on its own feels so summery and fun. This lip gloss is great too because there is very little sticky-ness to it.

Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Stick- This guy is the bomb. It is perfect to bring when you are going on a trip and maybe can’t bring a lot with you, or if you are having a day out in the sun you only need to bring one thing to touch up with. A little goes a long way which is also nice since I am still rolling off my trial size and the pigment is so wonderful!

Sugar Matte Lip Crayon- If I am not using my lip and cheek from Milk, I am using this for wonderful matte lip color! I have this in two shades now and love both of them so much that when my trial sizes are gone, I will be repurchasing. They are so easy to apply right the first time, go on super smooth and creamy but dry matte, and don’t leave your lips feeling chapped and weird like so many other matte lip products do. They have gorgeous shaded and pigments, and they do not smudge easily. Since more and more people are getting vaccinated and masks are being required a little less, it is time to get back to lipstick!

Highlighter (no favorite but listed a couple of good ones)- So for this one, I do not have one specific brand that I love, but I wear highlight every single day. My favorite liquid highlight is this one by Glossier! It has the prettiest pigment and shine and is very buildable. I can do one dot for a subtle look or put three dots for a more striking look. It also looks really pretty under other similarly-hued highlights. They do not sell this one anymore (cue the tears) but luckily this bottle goes a long way/ My favorite cream highlight is this one from ColourPop! This is another great buildable one that looks so pretty and natural when applied. It truly looks like you are just glowing from within and have a natural radiance. This one also looks amazing in the sun whether you put on a bunch or a little of it! Last but not least my favorite powder high light is in this Tarte Pro Glow palette! I have linked the travel one since that is all that seems to be in stock, but they have such a super glow I cannot get enough of! I definitely use this one when I am doing more of a full glam look because it is hard to build and it pretty much comes on this sparkly. It’s wonderful, but I don’t use this one every day.

SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen- This isn’t really a makeup product but since it is so necessary to looking young and healthy, I count it as one. The clear nature of it is great because it easily goes on any skin type, can be reapplied over makeup, and if worn on its own gives your skin a little more finished look. It lays super well under makeup and over moisturizer and does not leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. I do use a stronger one when I am going to be in the sun (like at the beach) all day, but for day-to-day just in between work and what not it is perfect.
