Power to the Babes

A couple of weeks ago, I hated everything in my closet. Truly couldn’t pick anything out of it to wear or to make an outfit at all, but my current situation doesn’t allow for a lot (any) shopping right now. But then I saw a brand I love, Girl Dangerous, was doing a mystery bag bundle where you pay a flat $30 and get five items. The only downside is you don’t get to pick any of the items or return them, so you have to just live with what you get! I love everything I got from the brand and will be shooting it over the next few weeks to keep showing you guys! This first one is my favorite out of the batch and I can’t stop wearing it! Even though there have been a few sunnier, slightly warmer days here in Oregon, we are still very much in winter here. As much as I would love to be pulling out my sundresses and sandals, I am still very much living in a layered outfit zone. This is one of my go-to outfits right now: the crewneck/ hoodie, leggings or skinny jeans, and then my denim or leather jacket. This is an outfit combo that works for anything, anytime, especially when you have to layer because the seasons don’t know what’s going on. The beanie and braids are the perfect hack for a bad hair day too, or even just a day when you should have washed your hair one or more days before.

This crew neck is feminist, made of amazing things, and feels so soft I only want to wear this item forever. It is cute and snappy and I love it to the point that I have to remind myself not to wear it every day. This guy compared to a lot of my other hoodies really takes the cake when it comes to softness. Even if this specific sweatshirt isn’t for you, the rest of their clothes are also amazing quality!
