Skin Care
Welcome back everyone! Its been a busy week so I put together a little skincare master post for all of you! I have been lucky in the sense that I have never had issues with acne, but I have had other skin issues that have required a lot of interesting skin care experiments. I have an issue with redness, and random little red spots and bumps that pop up along my cheeks and nose. I have random bumps that pop up for no reason. Its all very odd and can be uncomfortable. Below is my list of skin care holy grail products. I hope this helps some of you out there looking for the next best thing for your skin!
Angles on Bare Skin- I use this in the morning instead of a face wash. It is a scrub like substance that you pinch off a little piece and add water and massage it into your face. It helps to get off all the grease and makes my skin look more awake before I put on makeup. It cuts down on breakouts and shiny skin through out the day, and is gentle enough to use everyday. It is gently exfoliating and helps my skin stay soft and even. I love this becasue it also keeps my skin from drying out excessively.
Moisturizer- I have the textbook definition of combination skin. Oily in random spots, while flakey and dry in others. I can’t use an intense moisturizer without breaking out and anything too relaxed gives me more dry spots. This moisturizer is perfect for combination skin. It does the perfect job on both sides of the spectrum, and is gentle and easy enough on skin to use multiple times a day when not wearing face makeup. This stuff is magic and I have been using it since my mom informed me body lotion doesn't count as suitable face lotion.
Glossier Super Pack- I use the Glossier super pack face masks. The super green mask detoxifies without making skin red and dry and without the burn, which is something I haven’t found in a detox mask yet. It makes my skin glow almost immediately after, and it also help the redness of my skin clam down. The moon mask is extremely moisturizing and works best if you put it on right after the super green mask. It makes your skin so soft and wonderful without making it oily and it is amazing. Sometimes I will use just this one in the winter if my skin is way to dry.
Rose and Aloe Face Mist- This mist is amazing. I use this after I put on makeup to set it, and also during the day whenever I feel like I need to. It makes your skin instantly hydrated and glowy and is amazing. It is instantly cooling I carry it with me in my bag everywhere I go.
Acne spot treatment- This is a small, spot treatment that is used on problem spots. This shouldn't ever be used all over the face in large quantities, but it really does help stop a pimple in its tracks. I put this on every night until I see the pimple go away! If it can go on right at the first sign, the zit is gone in 2 days tops.
Face wash- I have never loved a face wash as much I love this one. I have sensitive skin and so I only use this once every other night, since it such a deep cleanser. But, my skin has never been more smooth or clear since I started using this product. It is a very deep cleanser and exfoliator, so keep that in mind if you do choose to use this! I would say it is best for oily or combination skin, not dry skin.
Makeup Wipes- I have been using these wipes since I started to wear makeup. It is oil free and never makes my skin feel gross or like there is a slight slime all over my face that I have felt with other face wipes. It wipes off easily without making me scrub my skin to the point of it getting red. I love them and recommend them to all makeup wearing people!
I hope you found some of these products useful! Everything is linked above!
